Every spring for the past four years, The LAMP has run a Public Service Announcement program for high school students at the John Jay Secondary School for Law in Brooklyn. This year the focus was on the environment, and how even small actions can make a big difference. Students looked at the impact they have not just on global climate change, but also on their personal lives and local environments. In writing, shooting and editing their own PSAs, students practiced storytelling, research and media literacy skills in addition to making their voices heard on environmental issues that matter to them.
