If you’re a teen media-maker in the NYC area, listen up! The 2nd annual Digital Waves Youth Media Festival is just nine days away, and this year’s focus is “Reporting in the Digital Age”–and it’s free! We’re exploring multimedia storytelling, how news stories change depending on media format, ways to get the most from your “man on the street” interviews and so much more. There’s also a radio slam contest where you can show off your best audio work for a chance to win fantastic prizes. Since you’ll need fuel for all your creative energy, we’ve got lunch and breakfast covered too.
And like we said, all of this is free! All you have to do is register online today, and join The LAMP, WNYC Radio Rookies, RHI Radio and People’s Production House/REV for a groundbreaking day of discovery and creation. We’ll see you there!
