As BloombergTV launched its highly-anticipated Women to Watch series about women in tech companies, there’s been increased attention in the news to…well, women in tech. We wrote yesterday about the importance of having a diversity of voices in the media field, but it’s no less important for diversity in technology. After all, the tech companies are creating the apps, devices and programs used to transmit media messages in our pockets, homes, schools and offices. That’s a pretty powerful responsibility, and should be shared across demographics.
