If you’ve never heard of the Gendered Advertising Remixer, you’re in for a treat. When The LAMP was dreaming up the Media Breaker, this is one tool that inspired us as an example of how remix can be used as an educational tool for provoking critical thinking about media. As you can see, the Gendered Advertising Remixer is straightforward and easy to use for people of all ages, making it a great entry point (dare we call it a gateway drug?) to media literacy.
